Thankfully, not everything we do at Cr8ive Media UK relies on perfect flying weather.

With the Emlid Reach RX, Pix4Dcatch, RedCatch RTKcamera, and RealityScan, we’ve added ground-based RTK photogrammetry to our toolkit, letting us capture accurate 3D models of walls, trenches, structures, and full sites, even when the drones stay grounded.

The image below is from a recent scan of a graffiti-covered brick wall. The result is a detailed, photo-realistic model that’s fully measurable and survey-grade, ideal for documentation, inspection, or just capturing a moment in time.

This will quickly become a regular part of our workflow, especially for jobs where drone access is limited or weather-dependent.
