Rapid Smartphone Photogrammetry, Survey‑Grade Output

I hand‑scanned the Repatriation Memorial at Liverpool’s Pier Head using a Samsung S24 Ultra (50MP) paired with an Emlid Reach RX via the Redcatch RTKCamera app. In 4 minutes, I captured 254 RTK‑tagged images in less‑than‑ideal light and processed them in DJI Terra to produce a crisp, centimetre‑level 3D model, no ground control points required.

The fly‑over video shows clean geometry, sharp textures, and reliable measurements from every angle. This handheld workflow is quick, portable, and precise ideal for monuments, façades, incident scenes, and drone‑restricted and weather-challenged sites.
