We recently captured Lytham Hall, one of Britain’s finest Georgian mansions as a photorealistic, survey-grade digital twin, using over 1,800 drone images and RTK-precision photogrammetry. This isn’t just a visual, it’s a fully explorable survey-grade 3D model, designed to support inspection, conservation, and engagement.
One small roof detail spotted in the model (not visible from the ground) was swiftly addressed by the Heritage Trust for the North West team, a great example of their proactive approach and how this technology helps protect historic buildings. Huge credit to Heritage Trust for the North West and to Michael Guy, Ben De Loup, Peter Anthony, Paul Lomax and David Parfitt for embracing innovation and showing how heritage and technology can work hand-in-hand.
This is a showcase of what’s now possible to help organisations document, understand and manage their buildings in ways that were never before possible.
