Drone Surveying Wales, Accurate Mapping for Land, Energy & Environment

Drone Surveying Across Wales – Fast, Accurate, Landscape-Ready

Wales presents a dynamic mix of land types from national park uplands and managed farmland to fast-growing urban developments in Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea. Our RTK-enabled drone surveying service is designed for this variety, delivering reliable, repeatable spatial data for planners, developers, engineers, conservationists, and agricultural consultants across the country.

Whether you're monitoring a hillside forest restoration in Powys, planning a housing site on the Vale of Glamorgan coast, or designing a solar scheme in Monmouthshire, our aerial surveys give you the precision and context you need without setting foot on unstable or restricted land.

Scalable Aerial Surveys for Every Sector in Wales

From the Brecon Beacons to the Gwent Levels, drone surveys offer a safer, faster, and more cost-effective way to understand land. Our RTK systems provide centimetre-level accuracy over everything from floodplains and quarries to brownfield urban lots and coastal erosion zones.

We supply survey-grade outputs including digital terrain models, orthophotos, slope mapping, volume measurements, and vegetation indices ideal for use in planning applications, landscape architecture, NRW submissions, and pre-construction design. Repeat flights allow you to track site evolution, environmental changes, and seasonal impacts, all with no ground disturbance.

Case Study: Event Field Survey

high-resolution aerial imagery and generating a full digital surface model. The output included precise contours, 3D terrain mapping, and orthomosaic data

We were commissioned to survey a 10-acre event field, which is used for public gatherings, temporary infrastructure, and environmental outreach. The client needed a detailed understanding of the site’s topography to plan safer access routes, identify flood-prone areas, and manage surface water runoff during large events.

Our RTK-enabled drone completed the survey in under two hours, capturing high-resolution aerial imagery and generating a full digital surface model. The output included precise contours, 3D terrain mapping, and orthomosaic data. The client used our data to reconfigure their site layout and access plan thus improving usability and minimising environmental impact ahead of the next season.
