Nationwide Surveys for Preservation, Planning, and Protection
England’s Heritage Deserves a Digital Record
From country cottages in the Cotswolds to urban warehouses in Birmingham, England is home to centuries of architectural diversity. Yet maintaining these buildings, especially under increasing environmental and economic pressures requires modern tools. Cr8ive Media UK provides drone photogrammetry services across England, giving heritage professionals, local councils, and private owners a clear, cost-effective way to assess and document historic structures.
Our high-resolution 3D surveys are accurate, easy to use, and delivered with the care expected from conservation professionals. Whether you’re planning restoration or simply creating a long-term digital archive, our tools make it easier to act with confidence.

Designed for Both Cities and Countryside
We’re equipped to work in dense urban centres, rural areas, or historic estates. Wherever the building is, our drones can access the full exterior safely and efficiently. Our surveys reduce the need for ladders, scaffolding, or restricted access, making them ideal for sensitive or heavily used sites.

Clients across England have used our surveys to support listed building consents, heritage reports, planning applications, and maintenance reviews. Our outputs are compatible with BIM, CAD, and conservation workflows or simply viewable in a browser for broad collaboration.

Norton Priory - Visualising Potential at "The Yard"
A recent project took us to Norton Priory in Cheshire, where we were commissioned to survey a 2.2-acre area known as The Yard — a large, underused space adjacent to this nationally significant heritage site. The aim was to support a major funding bid to transform the site into a commercial hub that would not only aid the long-term sustainability of Norton Priory but also expand its educational offering for schools and community groups.
Using drone photogrammetry, we created a detailed, high-resolution 3D model of the entire yard, capturing the current condition of buildings, hardstanding areas, vegetation, and boundary features. The digital twin offered a complete and accurate visualisation of the site, not only as a condition record but also as a powerful communication tool for stakeholders. The model allowed local authorities, funders, and planning consultants to explore the site remotely in full 3D, removing the need for repeated site visits.
This visual clarity proved especially valuable during early-stage discussions, helping the project team convey both the potential and practical challenges of the site with confidence. It also supported a wider narrative around regeneration, educational access, and community engagement, key themes in the funding application.
The survey was delivered quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to the surrounding grounds, and the outputs are now embedded into the ongoing development process. This project highlights how drone-based 3D modelling can go beyond simple documentation to become a strategic tool, enabling site teams to present compelling, data-rich evidence to decision-makers and funding bodies alike.
